The SJF member meeting is an opportunity to learn more about the state of SJF, have the opportunity to vote on new board members, review and reflect on our programming for the year, and hear about some of our plans for what’s ahead. This year SJF is doing our annual Member Meeting in two parts!

This first session on June 30 will focus on recent internal transformations at SJF — including bringing on new staff, developing new positions, and our resource fund organizing model which challenges traditional white supremacist practices in fundraising. Perhaps most importantly, we’ll talk about a changing organization culture that centers wellness and healing, including the move to a 4-day work week. Our Interim Executive Director Valériana Chikoti-Bandua Estes will lead the discussion, and share more about exciting events and projects happening in the rest of 2022. We hope to see you there!
