White text reads Rapid Response and Seed GrantsOne of the things we’re proudest of in our last five years is the Rapid Response & Seed program. Started in 2016, these grants allow us to respond quickly to the political climate, attacks, and opportunities, and to support new and emerging groups.

In 2020 we’ve seen recipients of this grant do some seriously incredible organizing, like grantee Raising Justice in Portland, a collective of high school and college age people working to disrupt and uproot police violence, and grantee Alimentando El Pueblo/Feeding El Pueblo in Burien, WA, who distributed over 500 boxes of culturally relevant food to Latinx families in this year.

These grants are one of our most effective tools to support urgent grassroots organizing and help SJF build relationships with emerging collectives. Will you make a donation to our 2021 Rapid Response & Seed Fund?

It is abundance that keeps the grassroots movement for justice going — an abundance of power, expertise, belief, joy, and resources, all rising from community. Thank you for helping us grow that abundance into 2021 by donating to the Rapid Response & Seed Fund!
