In this challenging political climate many of us are ready to support those on the front lines of the fight for progressive change. We know that donating to grassroots, social justice organizations is one way to engage. But how do we decide when, where and how much to give? Should the urgency of the current moment change the way we give?

Social Justice Fund NW provides this interactive, cross-class workshop to help you begin to think through these questions and get you started with creating a giving plan that aligns with your values. This is a cross class workshop (i.e. you don’t need to be giving away thousands of dollars a year to attend) and open to anyone who is interested in thinking about strategic personal giving.

Facilitated by Burke Stansbury. Co-hosted Montana Women Vote, Montana Human Rights Network, Indian People’s Action, Empower MT and Forward Montana. See Accessibility information below.

Social Justice Fund NW is a foundation working at the frontlines of social change. Through member engagement, fundraising and grantmaking, our foundation fosters long-term social justice solutions throughout the Northwest. Our members work to fund organizations that are led by the people most directly affected by the issue and use community organizing as their primary strategy for social change. The foundation provides essential resources to organizations in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming to strengthen grassroots efforts in the broad-based movement for progressive, systemic social change.
