Join recent Giving Project alumni and other Social Justice Fund NW members for a summer gathering in Seward Park. Enjoy snacks and cold drinks, jump in the lake, bring kids for fun on the nearby playground, and bask in the sun or shade of a midsummer afternoon in Seattle.

The Summer Social is a family-friendly event, an opportunity to reconnect with others who have been involved in SJF and meet some new people as well. It is not a fundraiser and there won’t be a long program. (If you’re looking for an update on what SJF has been up to then come to our Member Meeting on August 14!)

Location: Seward Park Picnic Shelter #1 (near the playground/ Audubon Center) See map below

Public transportation: Bus route 50 arrives to Seward Park and can be accessed from either the Columbia City or Othello Light Rail stations. You can also use the new Via service with your Orca card to get a ride to Seward Park directly from the light rail station.
