2026 Seed Grant Awardees

Social Justice Fund is pleased to announce the awardees of our 2026 Seed Grant cycle!
Seed grants will provide small unrestricted funds to new groups who are in the early stages of building their community work but do not yet meet all of SJF’s community organizing criteria, and may not yet qualify for our regular grants. Congratulations to this year’s round of grantees:
Angolan Community in Washington State | Seattle, WA
The Angolan Community Organization connects and supports African and Angolan individuals and families.
Cambodian Americans Advocating Peace (CAAP) | Seattle, WA
Cambodian Americans Advocating Peace (CAAP) is a grassroots organization founded and led by Cambodian and Southeast Asian community members in King County. They organize seniors, immigrant families, and survivors to build community safety, prevent gender-based violence, and develop leadership from within.
Coalition for Immigrant Rights Idaho (CIRI) | Boise, ID
The Coalition for Immigrant Rights Idaho (CIRI) is a new statewide initiative designed to help communities across Idaho prepare for and respond to increased immigration enforcement.
Defend Migrants Alliance Oregon | Aloha, OR
Defend Migrants Alliance Oregon unites in the struggle to defend migrants from here to our homelands!
Filpinx Ending Violence | Seattle, WA
Filipinx Ending Violence (FEV) is a Filipino-led grassroots organization in King County. Their mission: engage locally to end violence, build a Natural Helper Network, advocate for survivors, and advance community organizing.

Southern Idaho Pride is deeply committed to advancing LGBTQIA+ rights and social justice in Idaho. They actively engage in coalition building and public awareness campaigns with other organizations around Idaho to challenge discrimination and stigma experienced by many LGBTQIA+ folks in the state, especially for the transgender community.

The Stella Nyanduko Foundation is dedicated to empowering communities through art, culture, education, and mental health advocacy. They celebrate artists and cultural heritage by supporting creative expression and preserving global traditions.
Washington Youth Alliance Action Fund | Centralia, WA
