2020-21 Portland Black-Led Organizing Giving Project

This project will support community organizing led by and for Black communities and communities of African descent who are working to end anti-Black racism and discrimination, support and invest in Black leadership, and sustain movements for Black liberation to achieve a world where Black communities are protected, honored, and thriving

  • Who’s eligible: Descendants of the African Diaspora (Black, African, African-American, Afro-Caribbean etc) living in or near Portland.
  • Project dates: 10/24/2020 through 5/15/2021
  • Access: Sessions will be held online, via Zoom; accessibility accommodations available.

2020-21 Seattle Forced Migration & Displacement Giving Project

This project will support organizations working to stop forced migration and displacement due to gentrification, colonialism, anti-immigration policies, eviction & foreclosure, environmental racism, and climate change, and working to build healthy communities where immigrants, LGBTQIA, Black, Indigenous, and people of color, and working class people have stable housing and political and economic power.

  • Who’s eligible: Anyone living in or near Seattle.
  • Project dates: 10/3/20 through 4/30/21
  • Access: Sessions will be held online, via Zoom; accessibility accommodations available.
