Hi community! We’re thrilled to announce that our Rapid Response & Seed Grants have officially reopened for the year, and will remain open through November or until we have exhausted the funding available for these grants.

First launched six years ago, these small grants help SJF support organizing in response to urgent situations and emerging grassroots collectives who are not yet eligible for SJF’s other grants. (Click here to read about just a few of the 22 Rapid Response & Seed Grants we made in 2021!) One exciting change to our 2022 Rapid Response & Seed offerings is an increase in the grant sizes! Rapid Response grants have been raised from $2,000 to $3,000 and Seed grants have been raised from $4,000 to $5,000!

Rapid Response & Seed Grant applications are reviewed and awarded monthly by a panel of SJF community members. Application deadlines are rolling, though we suggest applicants submit by 30th or 31st of the month.
