This project will focus on community organizing at the intersection of gender, race, and sexuality, which works for a world where all people — especially women, girls, transgender and gender non-conforming people — are able to identify and express their gender and sexual orientation without fear, discrimination or harm, and have the economic, social, and political power and resources to make healthy decisions for themselves, their families and their communities in all areas of their lives.
“This has changed my idea of power. It gives power to people no matter how much money they donate.” – Ranfis Villatoro
“One thing that sticks with me is how much I enjoy and get energy from these issues. I came in tired, and now feel energized.”
