Social Justice Fund NW is hosting a workshop for those who want to bring social justice values to the creation of a will. The workshop will include an overview from an estate lawyer about creating a will and vehicles for “planned giving,” as well as a panel of people who have prepared wills and included bequests to social justice organizations. We will delve into hard conversations with family members and others regarding estate planning, taking into account both family needs and the long-term impact of intergenerational wealth transfer. Finally, we will have time for reflection and discussion in small groups.
